  • FPSO suffered major damage from a deadly explosion in the pumproom. Recovery Project encompasses the transfer of 70.000 tons of condensate to a shuttle tanker, disconnection and pull-out of the FPSO

  • CCB Offshore supplied the Advisory Chairman for a detailed presentation for the Board of Ministers led by Mr. J. Hok, called “The need of Regulations”. Main focus was to identify the consequences of regulations for Safety, Environment and Sustainable growth.

Supervision of Deepwater Riser Buoyancy Modules installation, Balmoral – Technip; January 2014 and onwards

  • Balmoral is the main supplier, in Brazil and worldwide, of Deepwater Riser Buoyancy Modules.
  • CCB Offshore is providing, on behalf of Balmoral, the supervision of the installation of the buoyancy modules in Brasil.
  • First project is the installation of modules on the FPSO of Technip, the “Cidade de Angra dos Reis” producing in the Tupi field.

Commissioning Manager Ensco 5005 upgrade, Singapore – Jurong shipyard, January – April 2014

  • Ensco 5005 drilling rig is receiving 5 yearly upgrade on Jurong shipyard in Singapore.
  • CCB Offshore consultant is Commissioning Manager for all aspects of the project; mechanical, electrical, instrumentational and complete systems.

Onsite HSE Manager and Safety Consultant for BW Offshore / Quip P-63; April till October 2013 

  • Supply of HSE Manager and Safety Consultant during final phase of construction and acceptance procedures of FPSO P-63 on Rio Grande shipyard and on location.
  • Establish, implement and monitor safety procedures.
  • Liaison between various project partners.

Project Manager Engine Room Repair for Odfjell Deepsea Metro II; April till October 2013

  • Supply of a Project Manager that coordinates all activities after Engine Room fire.
  • Coordination of all Engine Room repairs, subcontractors and crew in close cooperation with client’s representatives.
  • Work scopes, bid packages, quality control administration, reporting.

Petrobras & Regulatory Acceptance program for Noble Phoenix; July till Dec 2012

  • Supervision of corrective actions during start-up & operational acceptance to comply to both Petrobras contract regime and Brazilian regulating bodies.
  • Supervising preventive and pro-active actions before audits.
  • Reporting methods towards regulatory bodies & Petrobras, internal filing and tracking systems.
  • Implementation of the (preventive) pendency programs.
  • In close cooperation with Petrobras contractual department and according to their internal procedures & processes.

  • Re-organisation and structuring services of the archiving systems of 3 rigs.
  • Both hard- as soft copies with copies on ships- and main server with linked indexes for easy handling.
  • In close cooperation with Petrobras ́contractual department and according to their internal procedures & processes.
  • First focus on Annex VIII however all document requirements are included in updated systems.
  • Options for periodic maintenance and update of systems.

Pendency Program for Noble do Brasil; Aug 2011 to March 2012

  • Preventive Pendency Program on 6 operational rigs in Brasil
  • Implementation of preventive procedures within the HSE department and updating of internal auditing systems.
